Where can I find a faucet that mounts on inside/back of sink to replace old 50′s faucet?

I want to keep my 1950′s bathroom sink that sits on two metal legs. But the faucet is worn out and needs replacing. It’s a 3-piece 8 in. spread with cross handles. Problem is, it mounts on the inside back of the sink, kind of like a wall mount, and sticks out. A new wall mount will not work b/c it would stick out too far. Where can I find this type of faucet?
None of the sites below have what I’m looking for. This is an OLD sink with a taller back with the faucet on the INSIDE of the sink, but on the BACK. So the handles face out, and the faucet itself is very short. Our local plumbing store does not have this. No large hardware store has this, this is why I’m asking for help. Has anyone seen this type of faucet?

I think that if the faucet is coming out of the wall it is called a spigot .

Go to a plumbing supply house.in your area. They will carry these types of specialty items.

The fixtures for your sink are probably for a shelfback sink. They go on the vertical inner backside of your sink. I bought mine from DEA Bathroom Machineries in Ca. but were made by the Central Brass Co. in Brecksville, Ohio. 216-883-0220 http://www.CentralBrass.com

Its such as you learn my thoughts! You appear to grasp a lot about this, such as you wrote the book in it or something. I believe that you just could do with a few p.c. to drive the message home a little bit, but other than that, that is excellent blog. A fantastic read. I will definitely be back.
