The drain in my bathroom sink smells like rotten eggs every time I use the faucet in my bathroom. It’s not clogged and the water flows down the drain fine. I’ve tried pouring some bleach down the drain to try and get rid of the smell but it still stinks. It’s the only drain in our house that smells like that. Any ideas on how to get rid of this smell?

pour some baking soda down the drain, then pour some vinegar down the drain. it will bubble up and any hair or other smelly stuff that is down there will come up. you might have to do it several times in a row to get all the gunk up. worked for me.
There is probably something stuck in the trap. Take the drain apart and check the trap. You may need to replace it. If you are comfortable with doing this, hire a plumber.
I had the same problem. I had the trap replaced after it started to leak and the smell went away. I didn’t put that together untli I just read the first answer. So that sounds like a good answer to me.
I have the same problem. Went everywhere for answers.
I thought the smell was coming from the drain and I used all kinds of stuff to get rid of the smell. Changed the trap too. Nothing worked.
I finally went a plumbing supply business. They said that the smell is sulfur and it is coming from the water supply. The reason it only smells with cold water, and only one sink, is because we have a well. It is the first sink coming off of the well. The sulfur gas builds up and settles in the well, and then the first sink in the am, when you turn the water on lets the smell come out.
The smell is not there with hot water, because the hot water is in the hot water heater.
At our house, it is only cold water, the one sink, and only stinks for a few minutes each morning and then everything is ok. It’s just weird.
