Don’t these idiots realize that not everyone has the two handles.
What happens when the handle doesn’t “pop off” after the screw is removed?
Gently pull on the handle till it pops off.
Good luck after they’ve been on 20 years.
Just removing the knob shouldn’t cause the water to flow, however it is always a good idea to turn off the water before starting this type of work.
